The Degree of Generality of Inflation in FRW Models with Massive Scalar Field and Hydrodynamical Matter
نویسنده
چکیده
Friedmann-Robertson-Walker cosmological models with a massive scalar field are studied in the presence of hydrodynamical matter in the form of a perfect fluid. The ratio of the number of solutions without inflation to the total number of solutions is evaluated, depending on the fluid density. It is shown that in a closed model this ratio can reach 60%, by contrast to ∼ 30% in models without fluid. PACS 05.45.+b 98.80.Hw 98.80.Cq

Structure formation and generalized second law of thermodynamics in some viable f(R)-gravity models
We investigate the growth of matter density perturbations as well as the generalized second law (GSL) of thermodynamics in the framework of f(R)-gravity. We consider a spatially flat FRW universe filled with the pressureless matter and radiation which is enclosed by the dynamical apparent horizon with the Hawking temperature. For some viable f(R) models containing the Starobinsky, Hu-Sawicki, Exp...
متن کاملThe massive Elko spinor field in the de Sitter braneworld model
The Elko spinor field is a spin 1/2 fermionic quantum field with a mass dimension introduced as a candidate of dark matter. In this work, we study the localization of Elko fields on a de Sitter thick brane constructed by a canonical or phantom scalar field. By presenting the mass-independent potentials of Kaluza-Klein (KK) modes in the corresponding Schrödinger equations, it is shown that the E...
متن کاملScalar Speed Limits and Cosmology: Acceleration from D-cceleration
Causality on the gravity side of the AdS/CFT correspondence restricts motion on the moduli space of the N = 4 super Yang Mills theory by imposing a speed limit on how fast the scalar field may roll. This effect can be traced to higher derivative operators arising from integrating out light degrees of freedom near the origin. In the strong coupling limit of the theory, the dynamics is well appro...
متن کاملInflation from a massive scalar field and scalar perturbations of the metric
In the framework of chaotic inflation we study the case of a massive scalar field using a semiclassical approach. We derive the energy density fluctuations in the infrared sector generated by matter field and gauge-invariant metric fluctuations by means of a different method. We find that the super Hubble density fluctuations increase during inflation for a massive scalar field, in agreement wi...
متن کاملInitial Conditions for Vector Inflation
Recently, a model of inflation using non-minimally coupled massive vector fields has been proposed. For a particular choice of non-minimal coupling parameter and for a flat FRW model, the model is reduced to the model of chaotic inflation with massive scalar field. We study the effect of non-zero curvature of the universe on the onset of vector inflation. We find that in a curved universe the d...
